Moscow fair Mebel 2018 saw upholstered furniture producer under a new brand name.
The Rival company’s rebranding is due largely to its active international expansion. The factory has been participating in Poznan Furniture Fair for two years in a row, and the results seem more than satisfying. The produce was given a great welcome overseas. The company already has committed partners across Hungary, Israel and the Baltics, and, moreover, the factory is only strengthening its ties with the foreign buyers.
“We are highly determined to explore the European direction, and January 2018 we are exhibiting at imm cologne,” says Evgeniy Leonov, commercial director of the company. “We thought that coming to a leading European furniture fair under the name Rival would be rather inappropriate. Hence the decision was made to give the company a new name Rivalli. Thus we don’t change our brand name dramatically, but we lose an aggressive connotation that would have been improper in the European competitive market.
I am convinced that Rivalli focusing on overseas markets will eventually enhance our cooperation with Russian retail and wholesale companies. We are able to offer modern original furniture equipped with ingenious technological solutions.”
Several years ago, the company has produced its first line of metal-framed products, and it took the ‘iron couch’ only a couple of months to become a true sales hit. Using metal allowed to considerably, at least by 25%, reduce the product’s weight along with improving its durability and stiffness. The company also managed to cut down the packing size, which was immediately appreciated by Russian and overseas wholesale clients.
The metal-framed couch is designed in a trendy eco-style: arms and backs of the Rivalli sofas are made of metal instead of traditional wood. The company is gradually coming to an entirely ‘green’ sofa. Soon the brand is presenting a product with zero class of formaldehyde emission, it will contain no particle boards.
Rivalli showed a whole range of stylish and technological new products. First of all, its very own line of beds and mattresses intentionally positioned under the same brand name.
“New Rivalli produce have their own unique features. For example, the beds are based on the same metal frames, while being light, durable, minimalist and elegant. I am sure, our partners will acknowledge the advantages of these products.”
The collection of mattresses is made of cutting-edge materials and designed by Italian talents. The line is calculated and tailored to meet the needs of the target group.
The premieres from Rivalli are not limited to the new products presented at Moscow furniture expo. They still have something for Cologne up their sleeves.
