E0.5 for the price of E1
A major chipboard manufacturer from Syktyvkar has made phenomenal progress in promoting chipboard with E0.5 class.

As early as 2013, Syktyvkar Plywood Mill became one of the 12 best ecologically responsible enterprises in Russia. The award of the Russian Industrial and Environmental Forum “RosPromEco” is the recognition of high ecological standards of the company's activities in the field of production ecological safety insurance and waste disposal.
However, the major contribution of SPM to the Russian furniture market is perhaps the promotion of the chipboards of its own production with formaldehyde emission class E0.5, which have no counterparts in Russia. SPM is the first Russian enterprise in this field that has conscientiously taken up the promotion of the so-called ecological products and achieved significant success in this. According to the company’s top managers, the demand for such products has been growing at a galloping pace in the last two years – promoting its offer, the SPM is riding the crest of the “green wave”: today, SPM boards labeled with class E0.5 are sold at the price of E1 boards.
The quality of the furniture boards and large-sized plywood produced by the Syktyvkar plant is valued highly not only in all Russian regions – the company supplies its products to more than 60 countries worldwide for the leading construction organizations and furniture manufacturers.
Today SPM is a high-tech factory, whose products annually receive recognition at the contest “100 best goods of Russia” and meet the needs of the most exacting consumers both on the domestic market and abroad.
The enterprise produces 220 thousand cubic meters of widely varying plywood per year, 300 thousand cubic meters of laminated chipboard of different design and unique embossing.
Syktyvkar Plywood Mill has registered its own trademarks: SkyPlу in 2005, a trademark for plywood, and Lamarty in 2007, for laminated chipboard. The second became recognizable on the furniture market due to a wide range of exclusive designs, unique embossing and high quality of the basic boards.
