Impress has launched the second line of finish-films production in Poland.

“This is the most up-to-date line in the world,” — Dietmar Schulze, Commmercial Director of LLC Sokol-Yar says. — It is universal, it allows to use almost all, including the latest and the most cutting-edge technologies: to apply varnishes with electric drying, acid varnishes with thermo-drying. Concentration of production of finish-films on one enterprise allows to optimize expenses and offer a good-quality product for a very good price. As the Polish factory is located not far from Kaliningrad region, we plan to actively promote impress finish-films in Russia. We hope to change the dynamics of demand on this product. Unfortunately, the Russian market has seen decrease of sales of finish-films recently. Our clients — producers of interior doors were choosing alternative materials: polyvinyl chloride and polypropylene films, CPL plastic. These materails are, by all means, more durable and tear-proof, but finish-films are much cheaper, and this is a very significant argument today. As far as the look of surfaces with finish films is concerned, it’s difficult to tell them from veneer sheet or solid wood. So we think impress finish films have very good prospects.”

Another direction, impress is focusing on — developing new decors. In order to take the creative line to the new level, the company is launching new design-centres in Germany and Spain.

In Russia, on the joint Funder-Uva factory in 2016 the fifth melamine line will be introduced, as a result, the enterprise will become the largest producer of melamine film in this country. In long-term and middle-term plans — setup of the third printing machine on the factory in Sokol Yar.
